community garden

Finally - community garden coming together I sure hope I can reserve 2 4X12 plots. I'm already dreaming of all those heirloom tom's and the beets that don't grow in my only 3 hours of sunlight backyard....and the greenbeans I am exited

Lost Camera

Where oh where is my camera.....it seems to be missing now for a couple weeks.

So last week i picked up a pork picnic shoulder for 8 bucks, so then I had to make a visit to T&T supermarket (my local all things oriental market) for some baby yams, so tonights menu is pork picnic boiled in rootbeer, smeared with a concoction of pomegranate molasses, brown sugar, mustard and cloves then baked to within an inch of it's crunchieness (really bad spelling) with slow baked mouth wateringly sweet baby yams......i can hardly wait. Maybe some marinated coleslaw on the side with some curry roasted cauliflower. Good thing I have a good countertop toaster oven to manage all this seperate roasting and baking temps.

I think I will make myself sick just waiting for this amazing combination. I better throw some water on myself to cool off

middle eastern market

Yay....happy day - finally found pomegranate molasses close to home. The aroma in the deli was wonderful. Of coarse I has to buy a few other things I've been looking for like rose water though I can't recall why I wanted it hmmm mauybe I will remember after I get home
